Not only are no accessories or add-ons available, it doesn't even come with leg hold-downs for use with the Lat pull-down! And that's just bizarre, because their cheaper model includes them (because they're fairly necessary!). I should've known better, frankly, than to buy a power rack from Amazon, but the price was enticing, and now I'm stuck with it. That is a pretty major issue, and where I personally started to regret being cheap and buying this. And because of the somewhat unusual dimensions of its upright bars (3"x2"), even finding plate holders or j-hooks can be frustrating, and it's seemingly impossible to find anything else. There are NO available accessories for this. Major considerations should be the usability, availability of accessories, and after-sales product support. and this is it.Much is made about how easy this is to put together, and the parts are indeed nicely organized, but that shouldn't be a major consideration when buying a power rack. My thanks to Fitness Reality and the other reviewers for leading me down a path whereupon I purchased this tower. if you are going to do this, if you are really serious about your workout, you need to write the check or approve the charge on your card. Includes critical options to move components for the best fit to make your experience the best it can be.

I would call it a beast but that term in so overused in this world. you put it together wrong after reading their directions, well, let's just say it is not very complimentary towards you. Next the assembly - they went out of their way to put together very good instructions, excellent layout of the parts components and tremendous clarity in the instructions. Each component painfully wrapped and secured to prevent movement in shipping. And yes, there are many good competitive products out there, but this one. I bought it, received it (2 boxes) - just moving the boxes was the beginning of the workout - this thing is solid. Just not my style to write reviews although I buy a lot of items on Amazon for personal and for business.

Maybe in a few more weeks of using it, I will come back to update my review. Once again, I've only had it for a week and the quality I can tell is really good (I will be looking at their other products due to the quality of this one). I ended up having to put it in the middle of the wall, and it sticks out quite a bit into the middle of the room. This is not a problem if you have a lot of room in the room you are putting it in, but due to the arch, it is not good if you want to put this piece of workout equipment in the corner of a room, which is where I envisioned it. The only complaints I have are (a) due to the quality it is very heavy and hard to move around (and I don't know if I could really call that a negative, since you really don't want this thing wobbling around) and (b) when I was looking at the pictures online, I failed to notice how the legs / stands arch. First off, you can tell that this equipment is really well made. Reviewed in the United States on 4 August 2017īought the tower about a week or so ago. If you want to invest in a good tower this is it! A cheaper way to go is use one of your wife's old yoga rolls and cut it to size (don't tell her!) and wrap it with old terry cloth (old cotton socks fuzzy side out). If they ever wear out, my suggestion to you is buy those gel pads for bicycle bars and wrap them with handlebar tape. Very comfortable for me.Īs far as the grips go, they are comfortable. The dip bar measured midpoint at both grips is 23.5". The height I measured at 82" and the length is as stated which is around 63.4".

Granted the wide-angle pull-up bar measures at 49" but the base is at approximately 25". The dimension given by the manufacturer is a bit misleading.

You can even bolt it to the floor if you needed more stability. It is definitely sturdy enough for any local gym. Someone commented on here that you can actually move the backrest bar down which I did and it now supports my back for the leg workouts!Īll in all a solidly built unit. I'm 5'10" and I had the back rest assembled on the topmost bolt which was too high for me. Assembly took about an hour as soon as you unwrapped all the pieces and moved the packaging aside which was pretty beat up but the pieces were undamaged.
